What is a Reflux Still
When the alcohol, which is in a vapor form, hits the cold water it will turn some of the alcohol back into a liquid and it will drop back into the boiler to be reheated and will rise again. The vapor that got through will be of a higher percentage and a more pure form of alcohol. You are able to produce sometimes close to 100% or 200 proof alcohol. The reflux column is attached to the boiler by flange and collar which can be removed. Temperature is controlled by your heat source under your boiler.
